Priding ourselves as being a restaurant that offers a casual dining atmosphere, friendly staff and some of the best service in Sydney, it only seems right to conjure up a menu of delicious options that will satisfy fussy eaters from opposite ends of the spectrum, with a range of authentic, Italian dishes. And what better way to do this than with a string of indulgent pasta dishes, symbolic of the Italian culture and its ode to being one of most renowned food destinations in the world?
Catering to meat eaters, vegetarians, and extra tiny fussy eaters, we’ve crafted a range of pastas to replicate the cooking of an Italian Nonna, with our own contemporary touch.
Our selection of pastas ranges from traditional hand made gnocchi in a simple Napolitana sauce, to creamy garlic prawns fettuccine and a rich hearty slow cooked rage, but the outstanding taste is all the same. We all remember the days of crinkled ribbon pasta, whether we ate it growing up, whilst on our travels or when it was cooked by a special someone. Our Malfadine Inverno is every bit nostalgic, made with crinkled ribbon pasta, bacon, mushroom pecorino cheese and cream, it’s a sure example that less is in fact, more.
It wouldn’t be an Italian restaurant without Beef Lasagne bechamel, so it’s a given we’ve slid this dish onto the menu. This melt in your mouth dish is crafted from layers of pasta sheets filled with beef, combined with mozzarella cheese and a creamy, white sauce.
Speaking of classics, that’s where our Spaghetti Meatballs comes in, which needs no introduction as it speaks for itself. Consisting of thin noodles, tomato sauce and juicy meatballs, nothing really says comfort like a big bowl of spaghetti and meatballs does.
We put a lot of love, time and energy into whipping up the perfect pasta dish. And that’s one of the reasons why our Gnocchi Fritti is such a hit. Filled with three hour braised lamb, these light and crisp little pillows of dough are a traditional and delicious option.
For vegetarians, lovers of gourmet meals or just fans of trying something different, you’re sure to fall head over heals for our Buffalo Ricotta & Saffron Ravioli. Filled with pumpkin and ricotta, mascarpone sage and decorated in almonds, the addition of saffron creates a unique palette experience, setting this dish apart from the rest.
Coming in hot in the list of vegetarian options is our Rigatoni Norma. This cylindrical style pasta is covered with eggplant, ricotta, tomato, basil, prepared in a tomato sauce to create a warm, hearty pasta dish that is an undeniable favourite.
If you’ve previously out-noodled yourself with one of the above pasta dishes, then why not try our Chicken Risotto. Made up of chicken, mushroom, thyme, parmesan and fontina cheese, this classic Northern Italian rice dish is a delicious go-to option when you’re having an indecisive moment.
If spending your weekend fishing has become routine to you, you’ll be all to familiar with catching throw backs or reeling in boots to know not every fishing trip is a successful one. So why not let us do the hard work for you? Made up of prawns, calamari, vongole, garlic, parsley and tomato, our Linguine Marinara is a perfectly indulgent dish to compliment your seafood diet (where you sea food, and it eat).
Gluten free? Not to worry, as our decadent pasta dishes caters for your special dietary needs. We have gluten free penne available on request, which acts as a replacement to the pasta in any of the above meals. And the best part? There’s no extra charge.
